What is your turnaround time?
Most orders are completed within 4–6 weeks. Turnaround times may vary during busy seasons such as Christmas and Mother’s Day.
Do you provide proofs for handwriting embroidery?
Yes. Orders that include handwriting embroidery receive a handwriting comparison proof for approval before stitching begins.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A 50% deposit is required once order details and pricing are confirmed.
Will the clothing be cut?
Yes. Garments are cut and deconstructed as part of the creation process. Customers should be prepared to see clothing altered or cut apart.
What happens to leftover fabric?
Customers may choose to have leftover fabric returned (additional shipping may apply) or respectfully discarded. Leftover fabric is never reused for other projects.
Policies
Because our work is custom and created from sentimental materials, we’ve outlined the following policies to ensure clarity, care, and a smooth experience for everyone.
Custom Orders & Deposits
All Rescue Fabrics items are custom made. A 50% deposit is required to begin work on any order. Deposits secure your place in our production schedule and cover design, preparation, and materials. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
Handwriting Embroidery Proof Approval
Orders that include embroidery created from handwritten text require proof approval before stitching. A handwriting comparison proof is provided showing the original handwriting alongside the digitized embroidery design. Customers must approve the proof in writing before embroidery begins. One minor revision is included. Once a proof is approved, no changes can be made and embroidery will proceed. Items with approved handwriting embroidery are non-refundable once stitching has begun.
Turnaround Time
Turnaround times vary based on item type and workload. Most orders are completed within 4–6 weeks. Proof approval timing and delayed responses may extend completion time. Rush requests may be accommodated when possible but are not guaranteed.
Cancellations & Refunds
Orders cancelled before design or preparation work begins may be eligible for a refund, minus any non-recoverable costs. Once design work, digitizing, cutting, or embroidery has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded. If an error occurs due to our workmanship or differs from the approved design, we will work with you to make it right.
Sentimental Materials
Clothing and materials sent to Rescue Fabrics are handled with care and respect. Because these items are unique and irreplaceable, refunds are not offered once materials have been cut or incorporated into a design.
Communication
Order details, approvals, and confirmations are handled via email unless otherwise arranged. Clear communication helps ensure the best possible outcome for your keepsake.
